Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. You are purchasing gift cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and also to give as gifts and with every purchase, All Saints earns money. You pay face value for the cards and spend face value. All Saints purchases the cards at a discounted price which varies by retailer. The difference between the discounted price (2-15%) and face value is income for our church which will be used to reduce the mortgage.

 

We have a limited supply of gift cards available for purchase between services each Sunday. We have Festival Foods, Pick N Save, Service Oil, Shell, Kwik Trip, Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Starbucks, and Marcus Theaters and more.

 

All Saints will be placing weekly orders with Scrip. Orders may be placed using Scrip’s convenient online ordering system (www.shopwithscrip.com) or by completing our paper order form. Orders (online or paper) and payment must be submitted on Sunday by the beginning of the second worship service to be processed that week. Gift cards will be available for you to pick up the following Sunday morning between services.

 

 

 

Kohl’s is the only retailer that allows you to pay your account balance with gift cards. You can use your Kohl’s charge and get the 15-30% discount they regularly offer and then pay off your account using Scrip cards which have a 4% profit for All Saints. You do need to take the gift cards into the store to pay your account balance. What a great way to help All Saints on purchases you’ve already made!

 

The Scrip program is a great way to help All Saints without affecting your household budget. Please consider purchasing a grocery or gas card on Sunday to see how easy it is!
