The Outreach Team would like to thank everyone for donating to the “Rainy Season Project”, our Opportunity of the Month for January 2012. Thank you!! Thank you!!
In February we present the needs of the Oshkosh “Day by Day Warming Shelter” as our Opportunity of the Month for February 2012. This shelter is a new Oshkosh project that provides a place for anyone who needs overnight shelter during the cold weather months. This is a long awaited important ministry for our community. Our project for the month is to provide needed supplies for the shelter. Each Sunday in February we will feature a particular room at the shelter. Please look for the collection area near the coffee bar. Below is a collection schedule for our congregation:
· On February 12th please bring an item for the laundry room. Please bring: net type laundry bags, dryer sheets, bleach, or laundry soap
· On February 19th please bring an item for the bathroom. Please bring: foot powder, toothbrushes, toothpaste, small soap bars, shower gel, deodorant, men’s socks, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, or toilet paper
· On February 26th please bring an item for the kitchen. Please bring decaffeinated coffee, juice boxes, soft style cereal bars, gift cards to grocery stores, large garbage bags, large and small freezer zip lock bags, Styrofoam plates and cups, plastic silverware, or dish cloths
· The following items are also requests of the shelter: floor cleaner, rubber gloves, non-latex gloves, AA and AAA batteries, hand sanitizer (bottles or wipes), hand and foot warmers, twin comforters and twin flannel sheets and pillow cases (new or gently used)
Please help make this All Saints project a success by contributing one or more items. All items will be delivered to the shelter at the end of February. If you have questions please contact Robin Whitney at elirube@charter.net.
You are invited to join the Outreach team. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Common Grounds at 6:30 pm. NOTE: The team will meet on Wed. Feb. 29th instead of Wed. March 7th.

You are invited to help support those in need. Do you know of any persons or ministries with needs that we might feature as the “Ministry of the Month” in 2012? Each month we will feature a particular need during services and provide opportunity for the congregation to support it. Anyone can suggest a need. This need could be within our congregation, community, world, or of environmental concern. The need could be for prayer, emotional support, physical labor, or material items. The need could be for an individual, a group of persons, or an organization. Please submit the form below to our church office. There are no deadlines for submitting needs for consideration.
